Lakshmi N. Mittal is the Chairman and CEO of ArcelorMittal. He founded Mittal Steel Company in 1976 and was the architect of its 2006 merger with Arcelor to found the world’s largest steel maker. He is widely recognised for the leading role he played in restructuring the global steel industry, and has over 30 years’ experience working in steel and related industries.
